Painted pine antique over mantle

An antique pine overmantle mirror, later painted in a soft blue finish, retaining its original proportions and simple period detailing.

The frame has a gently aged surface with visible wear to the paintwork, consistent with age and use. These areas of wear sit naturally within the piece and contribute to its layered, time-worn character rather than detracting from its presence.

The scale makes it suitable as a decorative wall mirror above a fireplace or as a feature piece within a hallway or living space, where colour and form can add structure to an interior.

Currently installed in a private interior and not available for in-person viewing, but additional photographs can be provided.
